The guidelines from the Archdiocese of Baltimore require that a student MUST have regular attendance in Faith Formation for 1 year prior to and the year celebrating each/any Sacrament in a Faith Formation catechesis program or at a Catholic school. If your child did not attend our program but attended another program in the year prior to a sacrament, you must provide a transcript or letter of attendance from the church or school to be eligible to receive each/any sacrament or to particiapte in any grade.
We will have one session time for all religious education classes. Wednesday evenings, 6:00 - 7:15 pm. First day of class September 28, 2022. Last day of class May 10, 2023.
Sacramental Prep classes
First Reconciliation & First Communion classes are held every other Monday from 6:00 to 7:15 pm. Classes will continue to be taught by our 2nd grade team of Mrs. Mary Morgan, Mrs. Deborah Liberto, Mrs. Christina Flores, and Mr. David Mosmiller. There are a total of 7 First Reconciliation and 7 First Communion classes throughout the entire school year. *Schedule subject to change.
Comfirmation classes are held every other Sunday and every other Monday by our Confirmation Small Group leaders. Candidates will have the option to choose between Sunday or Monday classes. There are a total of 12 classes throughout the entire school year. *Schedule subject to change.
*Sacramental Preparation classes are held in addition to Wednesday evening Faith Formation classes and Religion classes in St. Stephen School.
The following guidelines apply to early childhood students
(Pre-K3, Pre-K4, Kindergarten):
Pre-school (3 & 4-year-old children) will be invited to join the Children’s Ministry, which is posted every week on our website as CLOW, to touch base with the theme for the Sunday. This can be viewed at any time.
*Kindergarten children must turn 5 years old by September 1, 2022.
